Testimomy from July 11, 2016, Cleveland "Moral Revival" service on the damage caused by the demonization of Immigrants

Below is a video testimony given at the "The Revival: Time for a Moral Revolution of Values" Cleveland service on July 11, 2016, about the damage caused by the demonization of immigrants. A summary transcript of the video follows:

I am a Syrian immigrant from Damascus. No refugee would voluntarily want to leave their home, work, friends, family, native country and language and journey across the world to live somewhere that they might not be welcomed.  Many refugees have no choice. Currently there are 65 million refugees in the world.  It is difficult to suffer diminished value and self worth in a country where fear and ignorance clouds the awareness that we are all human and worthy of dignity and respect.
